ABOUT US

The Oklahoma Thoracic Society is professional society whose focus is to improve lung health in Oklahoma as a chapter of the American Thoracic Society.

The support we receive from volunteers, chapter members, and staff enable us to achieve our goals year after year. As there is always more that can be done, we believe that the Chapter can continue to make a significant impact.

Volunteers

OUR MISSION

The Chapter's activities concentrate on expanding the science of and improving medical care in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine fields, as well as access to care issues relating to government and payer policies. We accomplish this through training, promoting research, and educational endeavors. We are fortunate to have providers from various disciplines in healthcare who bring their unique expertise and resources into everything we do.

The Chapter supports this mission via member dues, conference fees, donations, and the sincerely appreciated time volunteers dedicate to the Chapter's ventures.

Oklahoma Thoracic Society is here to help, and we believe that change is possible when we put our hearts and minds to it.
